Our search for an egress window installation company thankfully led us to Niagara Egress Masters. Steve initially took the time over the phone to explain all the details on how an egress window is installed to meet building code. After gaining an understanding of the process, Steve came out for a site inspection and gave us an estimate. Our basement is finished so we included having the drywall cutout and new window jambs and casing installed to finish off the project. The installation team — Isaiah and Paul — did an amazing job from start to finish, keeping us informed step by step. From hand digging down to the weeping tile, testing the weepers for drainage, to backfilling with stone. One detail I was really impressed with: they place a high-quality filter fabric in the dug-out window well prior to backfilling with stone to protect the drainage longevity. Isaiah completed the cut and he and Paul removed the concrete with confidence and skill. The finished opening was cut perfect so there would be no risk of cracks in the foundation in the future.

It started with a flood in my basement after a torrential rain storm. After calling several companies to dig out my window well with a week of no responses from anyone, I decided to call Steve from Egress Niagara. Not only did he answer my call, he suggested something I never considered — opening up my existing tiny window and replacing it with a much larger window, as well as correcting the drainage in the window well. It was all completed within a week of calling him at an affordable cost. Isaiah and Matt were great in explaining the process and did fantastic work. If anyone is thinking of having their basement windows enlarged, you need to contact Egress Niagara. You will NOT be disappointed.
